He was a key figure in getting America involved in the Iraqi war and was a Shiite Muslim who lobbied for the U.S. to topple Saddam Hussein. His exile group, the Iraqi National Congress, received tens of millions of dollars from the CIA and may even have been a CIA front group.

It was his group that provided U.S. intelligence agencies with the bogus information that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.  One wonders where the Iraqi National Congress received this information from? We suspect it was from Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency. Israel wants American troops on the ground in the Middle East to act as a buffer zone between Israel and radical Islam. (And apparently so do the Republicans, more so that the Democrats)

Of course, the first thing Chalabi after the war was to purge Sunni Muslims from the government thus empowering both ISIS and Al Qaida. With friends like that who needs enemies?

What America should have done (Besides not getting involved in the war in the first place) was break up Iraq into a Sunni, Shiite, and Kurdish nation. Instead the U.S., in its infinite stupidity, insisted that the new Iraq must be inclusive and contain all three mutually antagonistic factions under one roof. This forced diversity (and white Americans know all about forced diversity) did nothing but increase animosity and chaos and created the horrific mess into which ISIS and Al Qaida flowed
